Meet Dr.Aluru

Dr.Aluru D.M.D, Diplomat, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry 

Dr. Aluru received her Bachelor in Dental Surgery(B.D.S) from Kevempu University, India (1999)and a Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Boston University , Henry M.Goldman  School of Dental Medicine( 2004)  Dr.Aluru’s passion for working with children developed early in life, which led her into a career in dental pediatrics.  After practicing general dentistry on Children for seven years in Colorado and Austin, she entered the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio(UTHSCSA) Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program, where she earned her Specialty Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry in 2013,   during which she received extensive training in hospital and clinical pediatric dentistry.
                                                                                 

Dr. Aluru is a recipient of the prestigious Richard C.  Pugh Achievement Award for outstanding performance on the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, placing her in the top 3% of Pediatric Dentists.

 Dr. Aluru brings a warm, friendly approach and a gentle touch. She is dedicated to providing children with high quality dentistry in a fun, comfortable environment while easing the anxiety of both children and parents alike. Her special interests include infant oral health, cosmetic dentistry, and patients with special needs.
